The WoVA meets the first and third Saturdays of every month in Mt. Jackson, VA. The meeting on the first Saturday of the month is both a business meeting and a presentation on a specific topic of interest to Woodturners. See our list of meeting topics by clicking here.
The get together on the third Saturday of the month is for skill enhancement. Members will do hands-on work on one of the lathes in the WoVA shop with help from one of the experienced members. This is a fun time and any woodturning topic can be covered....it is up to you!
The WoVA meets the first and third Saturdays of every month in Mt. Jackson, VA. Mt. Jackson is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
Directions:
Take Exit #273 off of Rt. 81 and go east on Rt. 292, Conicville Rd. At Rt.11, turn right onto Rt. 11 South. As you enter the town of Mt. Jackson, you will see the town Municipal Building on the right and a building with a bowling pin sign on the left. Turn into the parking lot for the bowling alley and park. The WoVA woodturning shop is at the far end of the parking lot.
