Mt. Jackson, VA. The meeting on the first Saturday of the
month is both a business meeting and a presentation on a specific

The get together on the third Saturday of the month is for skill
enhancement. Members will do hands-on work on one of the

Yes, we are a member of AAW. WoVA enjoys all the benefits
of being a member organization of AAW. We participate in
monthly coordination meetings with other Virginia woodturning
organizations who are also members of AAW and many of our members
attend the yearly AAW Symposium.
Our skill enhancement sessions are geared
to do exactly that. Make you a better turner! We
hold skill enhancement sessions on the 3rd Saturday of the month
from 9am till noon. This is a great time to bring a
problem to the shop, ask questions of our more experienced
turners, or do some turning while being mentored.
Well....you can also do some socializing as well!!
