The 2008 "It's Your Turn" Woodturning Expedition is a new concept in regional woodturning symposiums.  It is your chance to step up to the lathe and have a mentor guide you as you do the turning!

 

Professional Demonstrators:

  • Barbara Dill - Multi-axis spindle turning
  • Ed Moore - Marine life & woodworking
  • Jim Vogel - Getting the bends when hollowing

Hands-on Woodturning:

  • 12 stations with talented VA turners guiding you as you do the hands-on turning

When: November 1st & 2nd

 

Where: Expoland, Fishersville, VA (Exit 91 on Interstate 64, just east of the juncion of Interstate 64 and Interstate 81 in Central VA

 

Entrance fees: $50 for both days of the expedition, $35 for one-day attendance.  Registration is at the door.

 

Sale:  Tool, lathes, exotic woods, burls, and more (several local and regional vendors and tool supply houses will have displays and tools for your inspection and for sale.
